In the UbiSim Portal, you'll see a banner at the top of the page whenever there is a new update available:
To update, you can either click the link within the banner that reads, 'here,' or follow the steps below:
Click on the 'Admin settings' tab
Click the 'Update' tab
Click the 'Update Now' button
Important Note: If you are using a device manager such as Arbor XR or Meta Quest for Business, you may download the APK file by clicking on the corresponding link. For more info on APK files for MDM's, click here.
How to Update from the VR headset:
When launching UbiSim in VR, if there is a new update available, you will be presented with a popup warning.
To ensure the best experience, please update before launching
If you did not update the app before launching it, you will then see a warning before logging into VR. Please close the app and update it.
The update might take several minutes. Please keep your headset on and stay on the screen.
Please note:
You must update each headset individually, even if the Institution has been updated from the UbiSim Portal.
