The VR Access Code
Whether or not your institution uses SSO, all users now have access to a 4-digit VR Access Code that makes launching a VR session faster and easier.
Where to find your VR Access Code:
Log in to the UbiSim web portal at my.ubisimvr.com
Select the VR Access Code tab in the left-hand menu
Your 4-digit code will be displayed. Use it to pair your web account with your VR headset
The code refreshes automatically every 15 minutes for security purposes.
You can also find your VR Access Code directly on the web portal before starting a VR session.
Why use the VR Access Code? Entering a 4-digit code on a VR headset is much faster than typing your full email and password inside VR. This is especially useful in busy lab environments where multiple learners are getting started at the same time.
Your VR Access Code is always visible in two places: the dedicated VR Access Code tab and the Start VR Session screen.
For SSO Users: EasyLogin on Mobile
If your institution has enabled SSO and you do not have access to a PC workstation, EasyLogin lets you authenticate using your smartphone and get straight into VR.
How to use EasyLogin:
On your mobile device or desktop browser, go to ubisimvr.com/easylogin
Sign in using your institutional SSO credentials
Your 4-digit VR Access Code will appear on screen
Enter the code on your VR headset to launch your session

VR Headset Login
When launching UbiSim on your VR headset, you will see two options:
Sign in with email — enter your email and password directly
Sign in with code — enter your 4-digit VR Access Code for faster access
Tips for logging in on the headset:
Use the Sign in with code option whenever possible for the fastest experience
Use the Show/Hide password toggle if you are entering your password manually. This helps reduce input errors in shared environments
Your VR Access Code is valid for 15 minutes. If it has expired, return to the web portal or EasyLogin page to generate a new one
Use Sign in with Code whenever possible for the fastest experience, especially in busy lab settings.
The password visibility toggle defaults to hidden. Tap to reveal if you need to check your entry.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need SSO enabled to use the VR Access Code?
No. The VR Access Code is available to all users regardless of whether your institution has enabled SSO.
How long is my VR Access Code valid?
Each code is active for 15 minutes and refreshes automatically after that.
